DWI Conviction
by Yvonne
************************************** Yes, you should expect something in writing regarding the terms of your SIS relating to your DWI. It would be difficult (and unreasonable) to expect you to comply with any terms that were not specifically laid out. There is generally alot "riding" on an SIS. Therefore, you can never be too clear on what the terms are - and for how long. Your attorney should be the liason between you and the court to make sure you have a clear understanding of the terms.
