Some companies and government agencies use WebWatcher to monitor thousands of PCs.
I'll tell you that personally, we installed this on a family computer when my 71 year old mother was going through a divorce.
All the family KNEW her husband had been hoarding money over the years. He had worked for the government as an inspector and
traveled much of the time all over the country. They were always "short of money" for no particular reason. Mom always took the non-confrontational route and
just ignored it. But when a divorce was pending after 25 years of marriage, her husband was playing the "poor pauper" and we all knew better.
The problem was that we didn't know where the money had been hidden all those years and no chance of finding out. Until, my brother
brought this software over to mom's house and was able to get it installed on their computer. Over the next month or so, we all watched
in amazement (from our own home computers by just signing in) all the sites our step-dad was visiting. We were able to take
screen shots of accounts and emails that we would have never been able to find out about in a million years!
The end result was that mom got the money she deserved and her coniving husband was caught at his own game. He was so shocked when
we presented documents in court showing he had purjured himself reporting his assets. And, the judge was not at all happy with our step-dad's life
of deceit from my mother.
Anyway, a 71 year old woman was served justice by 21st century technology. It's a sad story with a happy ending.
What Would You Like To Know? Protect Yourself and Your Family.
WebWatcher records information down to very fine details since we record key strokes. Not only will reports who where users went online,
but also what they wrote.
What's better is that the software is only installed on one computer but the reports of that user's behavior can be accessed at any location since
they offer web based reporting. ( A working mother could see what her child is doing on the computer at home while at the office.)
